is the recording alias of Kevin Rafn, backed by his older brother Daniel. They have performed as an electronic duo and are currently playing as a full band. Their pop lyricism, bouncy guitar work and esoteric chord progressions propel the band through a variety of vibrations with unique narratives at the heart of each tune. Seance Crasher has released three records, 2013's 'Purity Under Pressure', a brand new EP titled 'City Bus' and last year's 'Piano Pills', a studio record engineered by Jeremy Wilson and mixed by Sean Flora. A fourth album is nearing completion.
"With a lyrical sense usually reserved for poets, Kevin Rafn really shows off his creative chops with this new release. Seance Crasher's music is strange and infectious, in the best way possible."
- Scott McHale, Eleven PDX Magazine
"The analog approach Rafn has used in Seance Crasher keeps his peculiar brand of studio pop feeling both ambitious and tidy in all the right places."
- Pete Cottell, Willamette Week
"Each tune is harmonized with progressive songcraft and an ironic vocal delivery, placing the tracks in that familiar warped-John-Hughes-soundtrack area of nostalgia."
